In the summer of 2011 I had a vision that changed my life forever. I had a vision that I was standing on a rock. The rock was on the side of a beautiful green mountain side. I was playing on that rock like a child. All of sudden…I heard someone call for me at the bottom of the rock. He looked like Moses. He had a wooden staff in his left hand and he was pointing it at me like a grandfather would his grandchild. He looked so sweet and he had a sweet voice like that of a wise man. He was dressed in a long white robe and he was tall with a long white beard. If this man was not Moses then he must be God himself because his presence was very holy. He said to me “My child, come down from that rock!” And so I jumped down and went before him and he said “Look at that flowing water, do you see it?” I looked at the water and it was so crystal clear and clean. It was so clean that it was sparkling. I have never seen water so clean and clear in my life. I could hear it flowing in the small river, it sounded like a brook. Then he asked me again, “Do you see that water flowing? That is the living water! That water brings life!” And I watched it for a moment as it flowed. He then said “Now go down to the bottom of this river and pray for the women there.” And so I scurried down to the bottom of the river that led to a fountain. There were many women standing at the fountain of life. I could not see their faces as they were facing and looking at the fountain that they could not receive . I started to walk around them and I began to pray. There was a girl on her knees and she was pregnant. She was crying in desperation. My heart fell instantly for her the most because she was with child and so I got behind her and wrapped my arms around her and her baby and began to pray for her. We were both praying together and my vision faded. It was then that I realized that the Lord was calling me to pray for the women in my life. Ever since this vision, the Lord has brought a number of women in my life that were going through and are going through numerous trials in their lives. Many of them have received the living water and others are still thirsty. I think about where I was in my life at the time of my vision, I was standing on a solid rock and I still am. I finally came to a point where I was past some hurt and pain in my life that took so long to release. This vision reminded me of the story of Jesus and the lady at the well. He said to her “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:13-15) The spirit of the living water has revealed itself to me this past year for healing, counseling, teaching and consolation for the women brought into my life. It is also through my trials and tribulations that I am able to relate and give counsel, otherwise I do not believe the Lord would have called me to do so. Ultimately, Jesus wants these women to be healed and loved by him alone.
